A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“We loved almost everything about the accommodation (industrial style, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, very clean, super spacious room!), but unfortunately we couldn’t sleep at all in the room due to the insane heat. It makes absolutely no sense for a room to be heated to 26 degrees or so - no one can possibly sleep like that. Despite turning the air/heating system off we had to open the window (in January) to even survive the night. We certainly did not sleep well. It’s really odd to ruin such a nice accommodation with such a major issue?”
“Nice place with great value for money, huge rooms and stylish location in an old coal warehouse. The self checking was smooth and the kitchenette was well equipped”
“Great location, modern and clean rooms, although the check in process was a little annoying.”
“The interior is very new and modern and the studio apartments have everything you need. The location is perfect (close to the city center but calm for a good night sleep. Highly recommend!”
“We had a really nice stay here and enjoyed the location. The building is beautiful, as are the rooms and large windows. There is a fully equipped kitchenette (no oven, but a hob-top, fridge, dishwasher and microwave). Most kitchen basics are provided, which is nice. We were missing an extraction fan within the kitchen itself. A microwave cover and chopping board were also missing. There are some inconsistencies between the quality of some of the kitchen equipment, i.e. a top quality, stainless steel colander but then a plastic spatula which was shedding bits of plastic and melting upon use. (Get rid of this spatula!) The anti-stick pans were also completely worn out, with the anti-stick layer shedding microplastics. We couldn’t and didn’t cook with these pans. The room was very clean, tidy and we found the beds to be quite comfortable. Shower water pressure and temperature was amazing. We also loved the views of the Bastion Martin from our room. One thing was, the outer front door of the building remained unlocked the entire duration of our stay. This door is also supposed to be controlled by a code, which is sent to you along with your room access codes. I’m not sure if the outer lock system is currently defective, but if this is the case, this is something Limehome could have communicated more clearly with guests. The building isn’t necessarily in a shady area of Erfurt, but it was a bit uncomfortable knowing anyone could enter the building at any time during the night. The room door locking system was thankfully working fine. Otherwise, we had a really nice stay. I’ve stayed with Limehome before and definitely would again.”
“I love limehome, and this is my favorite in Erfurt. Was perfect for the "Weihnachtsmarkt", which was just 300m away.”
